For nearly two decades, I built my life inside high-touch hospitality — leading teams, producing complex events, and working in environments that demanded creativity, precision, and stamina. It was my dream job, and I was good at it.
I thought ownership of the company I helped build was my next chapter. Instead, I made a decision that surprised a lot of people.
I walked away.
The confusing part? I had never been happier.
For the first time in my life, I wasn’t measuring my worth by output or performance. I felt grounded and whole. At ease in my own skin. And once I experienced that kind of internal alignment, I couldn’t unsee it.
I knew the message mattered.
I had spent years learning how to lead in high-pressure environments. But the work that shifted everything came when I started paying attention to energy, nervous system patterns, and how leaders (including myself) unknowingly abandon themselves in the name of success.
And then was the cool part. The work rewired how I showed up — at work, at home, and in my own body.
Now, I’m obsessed with sharing it.
Through coaching, speaking, workshops, and my upcoming book, I help ambitious leaders understand the inside-out mechanics of sustainable leadership — the practical, human “cheat codes” that rewire patterns of burnout, over-responsibility, and constant self-pressure.
You don’t have to quit your job or blow up your life to do this work. It’s about learning how to lead without leaking your energy — so ambition and self-trust can finally coexist.
Outside of my work, I live in Indianapolis with my husband, Ryan, our daughter, Madison (my favorite teacher), and our soulful, goofy boxer, Crew. Mornings are sacred — quiet, tea, movement, and space before the day begins.
At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief:
Leadership starts with how you lead yourself.
