Privacy & Cookie Policy

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

Sarah Mullins LLC (“Sarah Mullins,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how information is collected and used when you visit sarahmullins.energy, subscribe to communications, download a resource, inquire about speaking or services, make a purchase, register for an event or program, or otherwise interact with us online.

This Privacy & Cookie Policy describes our current practices and also certain website, marketing, analytics, advertising, ecommerce, and communication tools that we may use as our business evolves.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with us.

Depending on how you use the website or our services, this may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, job title, mailing or billing information, information related to a speaking inquiry or event, responses to forms, surveys or questionnaires, messages you send us, newsletter preferences, event or program registrations, and information related to purchases or downloads.

Please do not submit sensitive personal, medical, financial, or other highly confidential information through general website forms unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, certain technical and usage information may be collected automatically.

This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website or source, pages visited, clicks, scrolling activity, searches, timestamps, approximate geographic location, and other information about how you interact with the website.

Squarespace, our website hosting provider, collects technical browsing information in connection with visits to Squarespace-hosted websites, including information about visitors’ devices, browsers, IP addresses, referring pages, and interactions with the site.

Squarespace

This website is hosted by Squarespace.

We currently use Squarespace to host and operate the website and may use Squarespace functionality for forms, analytics, email capture, ecommerce, digital products, scheduling, memberships, or other website features as our business develops.

Squarespace uses required cookies to operate and secure websites and may also use analytics and performance cookies depending on site settings and visitor consent.

Information processed by Squarespace is also subject to Squarespace’s own privacy and cookie policies.

Email Marketing and the Energy Circle

If you subscribe to the Energy Circle, request a resource, register for an event, or otherwise opt in to receive communications, we may collect your name, email address, interests, signup source, and information about your interactions with our emails.

We currently use Mailchimp to manage email subscribers and send marketing communications.

Mailchimp may process subscriber data and information relating to email activity in connection with providing its services. Mailchimp maintains its own privacy policies and privacy-rights processes.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each email.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not necessarily prevent us from sending administrative or transactional communications related to an inquiry, purchase, agreement, event, program, or other business relationship.

Analytics

We use Squarespace Analytics to understand website traffic and activity.

Squarespace Analytics may collect information such as browser, device, network, referring pages, IP address, pages visited, clicks, scrolling, searches, and timestamps.

As our business grows, we may also use additional analytics services such as Google Analytics or comparable tools to better understand website usage, campaign performance, traffic sources, conversions, and audience behavior.

If additional analytics tools are activated, they may use cookies or similar technologies. Where required by law, those technologies will be subject to consent or opt-out controls.

Advertising, Remarketing, and Social Media Tracking

We may in the future use advertising or measurement technologies provided by platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, Google, or similar providers.

These technologies may include tools such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, Google advertising tags, conversion tracking, remarketing tools, or similar technologies.

If activated, these tools may collect information about visits to the website, pages viewed, actions taken, device or browser information, advertising identifiers, and other information used to measure campaigns or show relevant advertising.

We do not currently represent these tools as active merely because they are described in this policy. When we enable new marketing or tracking technologies, we will update our practices and cookie settings as appropriate.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on a browser or device.

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the website, remember preferences, understand traffic and website performance, measure marketing activity, support forms or ecommerce, and, if enabled, deliver or measure advertising.

Squarespace places required cookies necessary to operate its services. Analytics, performance, or third-party marketing cookies may also be used depending on the services enabled on the website.

Where required, we use a cookie banner or similar consent tool to allow visitors to make choices regarding non-essential cookies.

You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

Speaking Inquiries, Contact Forms, Surveys, and Questionnaires

If you submit a speaking inquiry, contact form, questionnaire, survey, feedback form, or similar submission, we may use the information you provide to respond to you, evaluate an engagement, customize a program or presentation, improve our offerings, communicate with you, or maintain appropriate business records.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified feedback to understand audience needs or improve our content and services.

We will not publicly identify you or your organization in a testimonial or case study without permission unless the information is already public and use is otherwise lawful.

Purchases, Book Sales, Digital Products, and Programs

We may offer books, digital resources, courses, workshops, memberships, event registrations, merchandise, or other products or services through this website or through third-party platforms.

If you make a purchase, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, PayPal, Squarespace Payments, or another payment processor.

We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Payment processors handle payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.

We may receive information necessary to complete and administer a transaction, including your name, email address, billing or shipping address, product purchased, transaction amount, and transaction status.

If book purchases or preorders are fulfilled through a retailer, publisher, distributor, or other third party, information you provide directly to that company is governed by that company’s privacy practices.

Scheduling and Events

We use Calendly to schedule calls, consultations, speaking-related conversations, and other appointments.

If you schedule time with us through Calendly, Calendly may collect information such as your name, email address, company or organization, responses to scheduling questions, time zone, appointment details, and other information you choose to provide during the scheduling process.

Calendly may also collect technical information through cookies or similar technologies when you interact with its scheduling tools. Information submitted through Calendly is also subject to Calendly’s own privacy practices.

We use scheduling information to coordinate meetings, prepare for conversations, communicate about appointments, and maintain appropriate business records.

If we later use additional scheduling, event-registration, webinar, or appointment-management platforms, those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.

Embedded Content and Third-Party Services

The website may include embedded video, audio, social media, forms, calendars, podcasts, maps, purchase links, or other content provided by third parties.

These third-party services may collect information when you interact with their content, including through cookies or similar technologies.

Their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Social Media

We maintain or may maintain accounts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social networks.

If you interact with us through those platforms, the platform may provide us with information relating to your interaction. The platform’s own privacy practices also apply.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including operating and improving the website, responding to inquiries, providing services, fulfilling purchases, managing speaking engagements and programs, delivering requested resources, sending opted-in communications, analyzing website and campaign performance, preventing fraud or misuse, protecting our rights, maintaining business records, and complying with legal obligations.

We may also use information to personalize communications or content based on interests you have shared or actions you have taken.

How We Share Information

We do not sell mailing lists or email addresses.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our business, including website hosting providers, email platforms, analytics providers, advertising and social-media platforms, payment processors, ecommerce providers, scheduling platforms, customer-management systems, cloud-storage providers, event or webinar platforms, book distributors, professional advisers, contractors, and other operational vendors.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect our rights or property, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce agreements, or protect the safety of individuals.

If Sarah Mullins LLC undergoes a merger, sale, restructuring, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money.

Some privacy laws use broader definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” that may include certain advertising or tracking technologies. If we implement tools that constitute a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under an applicable law, we will provide any legally required notice and opt-out mechanism.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, contractual, tax, accounting, legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the nature of our relationship with you.

Email subscriber information may remain in our email system until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or we otherwise remove it, subject to records we may lawfully retain for compliance purposes.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access to personal information, obtain a copy of information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, opt out of certain targeted advertising or data sharing, or appeal certain privacy decisions.

We will honor privacy rights where required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

California businesses subject to the CCPA are required to provide privacy disclosures and applicable consumer rights, including through a conspicuous privacy link.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Other International Visitors

If privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply to our processing of your information, we may rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests as the legal basis for processing.

Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw consent at any time.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers of personal information will be handled using legally recognized safeguards.

Children’s Privacy

This website and our business services are intended primarily for adults and professional audiences.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.

Squarespace automatically provides SSL certificates for connected domains, which helps protect information transmitted between visitors and Squarespace-hosted websites.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Automated Decision-Making and Artificial Intelligence

We may use software or artificial-intelligence tools to assist with business operations, content development, analysis, customer service, administrative tasks, or marketing.

We do not intend to make decisions producing significant legal or similarly significant effects about website visitors solely through automated processing.

We do not intentionally submit sensitive personal information to general-purpose artificial-intelligence tools unless appropriate safeguards are in place.

Affiliate Links and Sponsored Relationships

We may occasionally link to products, books, services, platforms, or other resources.

Some links may be affiliate links or part of a sponsorship or referral relationship, meaning we could receive compensation if you make a purchase or take another action.

Where required, affiliate or sponsored relationships will be disclosed separately and clearly near the relevant content.

Testimonials

We may display testimonials, endorsements, photographs, names, titles, company names, or other feedback with permission.

If you provide a testimonial, we may edit it for length, clarity, grammar, or formatting without materially changing its meaning.

Changes to This Policy

Our business, website, technology, and service providers will evolve.

We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy periodically to reflect new offerings, technologies, vendors, legal requirements, or business practices.

The effective date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was last materially updated.
